Episode 23 in the Summit Pointe series provides an update on First Step. Opened in March 2021, First Step became Calhoun County’s example of a 24/7 psychiatric urgent care model being established across the country.
As First Step’s Dr. Kimberly Peck tells us, the response has been better than expected. The facility has seen 5000 visitors come through its doors in the first 18 months open. When thinking about that, it is clear the potential effects are incredible. Click to hear more.
