Richard has more than 20 years experience in the commercial radio news industry, having spent most of that time interviewing newsmakers and talk show guests. His engaging, conversational interview style puts folks at ease, allowing them to more easily share and get to the heart of their stories. Richard’s time as host of the award-winning “Richard Piet Show” on terrestrial radio in Southwest Michigan engaged listeners and made him a reliable radio friend to thousands. In 2020, he began “The Richard Piet Show” podcast, which now has regular listeners across the globe. In 2021, recognizing a need to help businesses, non-profits, and other entities share their stories, he established Livemic Communications. Now, folks anywhere can talk one-on-one with their favorite radio friend and bring purposeful exposure to their stories.
