In its ongoing effort to address the needs of its community, Calhoun County, Michigan, behavioral health authority Summit Pointe is implementing another solutions-based program: Jail Services.

In this episode of the Summit Pointe series, Taneisha and Ashley speak frankly about mental health and substance abuse root causes often found among inmates when they arrive at the county lock-up. An effort to identify and address those – and cut the rate at which those struggles cause inmates to return – the Jail Services program has begun.
